This chapter makes Sommers seem like the perfect character for Scopper Gaban to kill. His son is at the school and Gerd or whichever giant is the mom is probably too weak to save her son. Her dying in front of the kid would be the perfect reason for Scopper to kill Sommers brutally.

Lol this is One Piece so it won’t happen but maybe Scopper saves them.

His son wasn't even at school, the last time he showed up he was in the middle of a village party with the other adults.
