Two random thoughts:
1. I wonder if something bigger will come from Qilin's comment about things originating from dreams having no force/energy. Will this eventually affect the Nika fruit as well? BB?

2. The Ryu Ryu category sure has a lot of variety, between Ancient Zoans (the Wano dinosaurs) and now a Mythological Zoan.
You have giant lizards of both the very remote past, and of imagination.
And linking them is a fruit falling under the Fish category (Kaido's)?
Are we actually in for a revelation that CDs derive their name from some ancient fishmen race "as strong as dragons"?

Re: your point 1, that might serve as the explanation for haki countering devil fruits, since haki is from willpower and dfs are from dreams.

It might allow Luffy to beat BB without Nika if the latter steals his fruit.

Re:2 idk, ichthyosaur race maybe, since they're basically ancient fish lizards? Lol.

But tbh I don't think Kaido's was meant to be anything other than a reference to the myth of the carp turning into a dragon.

Then again as far as I know pretty much everything irl is descended from fish or fish like creatures so idk.

That doesn't mean he's the only one, or top one. Fujitora and Greenbull joined the Marines together during the draft. They should and will have similarities like how the OG 3 admirals were all logias
:Raku_Stare:
that doesn’t relate to their fighting styles , Fuji isn’t even a logia so he is obv different .

quick question , if u think abt a swordsman between admirals ,
Who will it be ? The guy with blind swordsman troupe or the guy who hasn’t even touched a sword in the manga ?

Have you read one piss? Characters are grouped together by their fighting styles. How many Parmecias were in the beast pirates? How many Df users will be in Shanks's crew?
Also, Fujitora didn't fight with his sword in his early appearances either.

Given how we've seen both Western and Eastern-looking dragons in the story, I wonder if the different DF categories are meant to hint at their diverse origin: the Western dragons linked to the dinosaurs and the imaginary people built around them; while the Eastern ones linked to water and to the "dreams" of the small fish who wanted to be "more", to be strong and to help their kin.

How many swordsmen were in cp9 ?
all of them used roushiki but kaku was still the main swordsmen there .

Other admirals have also shown a sword in their arsenal

BUT they are still not the main highlight in this group , this is not that hard to understand .

Are u blind :Raku_Stare:

is he not showcasing his sword ?

He's using his sword as a walking stick, but he's not actually using it seriously in fights. His intro was mostly just using his devil fruit so that Oda can get the fruit reveals done off the bat.
