The Oni stuff and her dynamic with Kaidou are for more interesting than the Oden obsession.
I legit don't think there was any value add to the Oden thing. It's all negative for me.
She does feel kinda fanfic-y ngl. I hadn't thought of her like that before, but I see it. Kaidou's kid, all three Colours, Mythical Zoan DF, super friendly and easily makes friends - I see how that can also be seen as a self-insert type of character, not of Oda himself but someone he knows.

I think her late inclusion makes her feel more fanfic-y. Suddenly there's someone on Onigishima who can stalk Kaido, his convenient.

Luffy is apparently destined to tear down the the WG and the status quo they've created under their oppressive regime so I don't believe there will be bounties EoS. Certainly not as we understand them now, which reflects how the WG assesses threats to their dominance.
I'm guessing Rayleigh was someone around 2.6bn and Gaban around 2.3bn. They're the Hands, but Rayleigh specifically was given the rank of second in command so his bounty should be higher.

Her introduction should've happened early on in Wano.
I do believe she is the final member of the SHPs but I don't like the fact she was left behind to catch up later. I'm not convinced that worked terribly well with Jinbe, who feels like he's had nowhere near enough meaningful interaction or presence among the rest of the crew.
Based on little, I think Oda is saving Yamato's return for the time it becomes relevant to explore more about the races, but I'm also not convinced we'll get a whole lot beside Oni being the descendants of Ancient Giants mixed with humans. It's starting to feel more like she'll be there to tick one of the boxes from the murals.
