Anyway, child Loki looking up to Xebec doesn't mean much to be honest. Especially from one line by pewpiece's spoiler, not even the actual chapter.

Like last chapter or so literally ended with Loki telling his bro that he was dumb to believe he was guilty of treason.

It's over, he'll never be a villain. At best he'll have a warmonger personality that wants to fight everyone.

We are so fucking long overdue on actually seeing Xebec, actual panels of him even as a silhouette at least and getting dialogue from him. But ideally a face and even full body reveal too ofc.
Same for Imu with a full face reveal assuming they're not a sentient shadow/blob demon creature or w/e with no actual proper physical features.

Imu is even worse, as he is clearly wearing a full-body, concealing outfit. Just show the robes and hood already, for fuck's sake.

The manga’s biggest clash is about to begin, shifting focus from Elbaf to the epic battle we’ve all been waiting for. There’s even a possibility that Xebec is still alive, hiding in Elbaf and waiting for the right moment. Before Oda fully reveals him, we might see flashbacks of his legendary fight against Roger and Garp.

Xebec’s terrifying Devil Fruit allows him to possess bodies, letting him control any Devil Fruit user. This could explain how he’s remained hidden in Elbaf all this time, similar to Orochimaru’s forbidden body-stealing jutsu. The catch? Xebec can only take over Devil Fruit users, which is exactly why he lost to Roger and Garp, they had no fruits to exploit!

The Straw Hat Traitor Theory
What if one of the Straw Hats is secretly Xebec? The best candidate? Brook. He’s old enough to fit the timeline, and his "soul powers" could be a cover for something far darker. Imagine the twist, the crew’s musician has been a lurking legend this whole time!
