what strawhats did in egghead with an admiral and 5 gorosei was a feat and was described as such
they didnt need to take down anyone. In the first place to survive multiple of these encounters would require a combatant of a certain pedigree.

I’m saying we have MF Luffy surviving being hunted by 3 Admirals simultaneously, along with Sengoku. Meanwhile he also got practically killed by Bagua.

The best part of the HK so far is how slow Oda's been with them. I don't think an enemy group's got this treatment since Enies Lobby with Cipher Pol.

Even Doflamingo family didn’t have much interaction with each other until near the end when the final battles happened. We saw glimpses here and there but the focus was always on Doffy and his history. Law’s flashback was probably the best considered for the Donquixote family

With Holy Knights you can already tell there is camaraderie and trust between them. You can tell what some of their habits are. Oda really cooking with this and I’m not even talking about powerscaling either. On top of that he’s doing it while expanding Elbaf lore and land which is a double W

I feel like these breaks Oda is really making great strides at bringing back the feel of adventure with suspense again
