Okay so, we kind of have a motive for the WG? They want to use Elbaf in the final war after vegapunks broadcast, or to be more correct they don´t want the giants to oppose them.
This is okay, I guess but I still think it´s kind of lame, and dumb that they aren´t focused on the revolutionary army. I hope there´s something more going on

I would believe it's due to the Giants having a connection to the Ancient Kingdom. The Gorosei now 100% know Nika has returned, so if they were to join his future alliance against them, then that's another problem for them.
