Because, people who were previously Rocks Pirates (Big Mom, Kaido, and Whitebeard), fought all of these people at God Valley. Big Mom doesn’t have a single scar on her, Kaido is the world’s strongest creature, Whitebeard being the strongest man; the HKs aren’t invincible lol, just to characters who aren’t strong enough to battle them! Also Garling literally has scars and a missing eye lol (which is my headcanon that Whitebeard took)!

Gunko touched Brook and soon after we get a small panel that shows she's in pain, Zoro wasn't allowed to fight and use his techniques against the Gorosei. Underworld powers counter the Gorosei, Jinbo will soon realize this.

Maybe emotions are the key to beating these creatures? As cringy as it sounds, "love overcomes evil", "light, goodness, hope" etc banishes/obliterates demons and darkness and all that? Makes me think of Fairy Tail, Sailor Moon, I think Cardcaptors Sakura and a bunch of superhero kiddie western cartoons I'm sure too ofc.

I don't rate Gunko at all. She is just another Monet. There, I said it. Quote me on it. As soon as you have the tools to beat their haxx (Logia/Invincibility) they are literally scrub level to someone like Zoro.
Alas, as we saw with Smoker way back or more recently with Saturn it doesn't matter if it is Monkey D Luffy/Nika himself. They need to find a way to hurt them. Same as Pearl (remember him?), Don Krieg, Crocodile, Enel, Pica, King, Big Mom, Kaido. List goes on and on.
Jinbei is simply way experienced and smart. He plays possum and avoids damage. As soon as he figures her powers out it's a one hit KO.
