That’s how messed up CoA and CoC are. 0 visual indicators that differentiate the 2 so you have people tracing over black lines, pixel scaling the length, and looking up japanese sound effects to figure it out

Either way I’m hoping the CoC itself (assuming that’s what it even is) isn’t the actual counter to their regen and he used it to enhance the slash

Imagine introducing a new magic system before you've even finished exploring the first one (DFs), then you fuck up so badly this new system by giving out incomplete explanations and by using arbitrary visual hints, yet, instead of fixing it and instead of finally delving back into your first system, you introduce a third, somewhat hybrid one, based on marks, summonings, and void BS abilities. Now you have three systems to juggle, 10 main characters you no longer love equally, a whole ass cast of characters spanning 30 years, and the hardest stretch of your story yet to draw and write... so here's ten more goofy giant kids instead of anything concrete in terms of main plot. Finishing this manga? Fuck no; rather an early grave than tying everything up.
