Oda uses Sanji because Sanjis character isn’t about defeating opponents, as long as Sanji rescues people to him that’s enough and that’s why when Sanji rescues people, Oda never has people get hurt.

I stopped watching Toeipiece in Dressrosa.

I've just checked some of the highlights. The quality definitely improved and there was a lot ey candy - but also a lot have bad habits with flash and effects, over-animation and reliance on impact frames.

Some of Sanji's best feats to date, from outpacing lasers and an explosion to save Edison to completely negging S-Shark looked like complete ass. Especially the latter example. They had the perfect opportunity to animate something cool with Fishman Karate failing here and botched it completely

He did clash with him, he stopped the sword then kicked Nusjuro. That’s a clash and the two comparison showcased the Wings strengths. Sanji being able to blitz Nusjuro highlighting his speed but not being able to kick him away highlighting the area of improvement. And Zoro being able to knock Nusjuro away highlighting his strength but not being fast enough to get there himself and needing Jinbe to throw him highlighting the area of improvement.

Any sort of rivalry between Zolo and Cuckeye died the moment Zolo got on his knees to beg Cuckeye to be his father figure after his own dad died to east blue pirates or some shit lmao. Nah, Zolo is fighting Shiryu, a real evil pirate guy, or Gandhi, a real evil government swordsman guy.

Jabra low diffed Simpji, Simpji couldn't break Jabra's tekkai lol. He needed Diable Jambe twice and he even got seriously injured, in the 2nd attempt.

Zoro went high diff with Kaku base and only pulled Asura when he insulted Robin.
He proceeded to 1shot Kaku and his strongest attack lol.

Goffy was weaker than Lucci
Simpji was much weaker than Jabra pre PU
Zoro was the only one equal to Kaku in Base pre PU.

Zoro didn't need Asura against King, Simpji needed Full Power Ifrit for a much LESS durable character.
