Saturn's main opposition was Vegapunk throughout the whole arc
He spent more time challenging Vegapunk for the control of Pacifistas,Kuma and a fucking denden mushi than he did fighting Luffy.

Kaidou is 59 years old and hasn’t awakened his Devil Fruit, but he had more things to worry about than Kizaru. I mean, Kaidou has Advanced Conqueror’s Haki and Future Sight — two abilities he had to train and refine over many years, on top of his Devil Fruit. Kizaru has none of that, and still hasn’t awakened his fruit. Just how dumb is this guy, really?
Remember that 12 years ago is when shank was in foosha village with a billion bounty. And even before that was when shank got the scar from bb and was duelling with mohawk.
But Harold died 14 years ago. So shank can't have been in Marie joa any later than that at the very least.
I'd say shank went and made the crew right after getting out of Marie joa. He took a break after Roger execution because of destiney child stuff Roger told him. And in that break, he went to/got taken to Marie joa. And when there, he befriended Harald. And maybe learnt of things that made him go back to the world below.
And after he came down from Marie joa, he most likely met Benn, then Roo. And the scene from chapter 0 where he recruits Yasopp.
That scene takes place 2 years after Roger's execution. So I guess after Roger died, shank was in Marie joa for those 2 years or less. Most likely closer to 1 year I'd say.

The entire reason this whole debate is happening in the first place, is because Admiral fans as per usual felt insecure about Kaido so they went out of their way to go "Lmaooo Kaido acted like he knew everything about Haki yet doesn't know this super secret AACoC application! He's already been power cliffed just a mere two arcs after Wano!!"
And when we brought up the fact that the Admirals haven't been shown to have that power either, they immediately started backtracking and trying to explain how people such as Kuzan not only have CoC, but also have ACoC, and even the newer more advanced version that lets you damage immortals.
