Sanji is going too and he doesn't have CoC as of now, which you're conveniently ignoring. Confirmation bias much? If Sanji is going there without being able to hurt them, why would Zoro need to be sure he can hurt them? Them having to figure out how to do it is part of what makes the situation challenging, you expect them to just anihilate their opponents easily?
