Yeah I completely relate and understand. I used to love Usopp until Dressrosa. Between Dressrosa and Wano, Oda made him completely irredeemable to me. It's only getting worse too.

Oda gave CoC hints for nami, Usopp and sanji now. He wouldn't do that without good reason and the deniers tried to insist zoro would never get it after the brook gag moment and even after Zoro's scarring Kaido moment and some of them still deny it to this day.

If you look at each SHs character arcs,they all deserve CoC imo. I even believed they would all captain a mini crew each within the SHs using the grand fleet divisions like what whitebeard has set up in his crew and their divisions would have minks, fishmen, giants, tontattas, samurai/swordsmen, non RA associated freedom fighter, even actual Beasts/monsters, demons/onis etc.

The SHs will have the most CoC users on a crew I'm sure regardless. Rocks had like 4 or 5, Roger has about the same too. SHs will surpass that. if Yamato does join and hopefully Loki too, that's another 2 potential CoC users as I believe Loki should have it too.

Having Sanji lust after it with comical faces is not how you foreshadow a huge character defining trait. It's like gag of him lusting over Nami or Robin, only to never really get either romantically, etc.

But maybe I'm wrong, we'll see. If it IS a foreshadowing of that, Oda is really being unfair/cheap with Sanji. It should be a massive, serious deal, not a lusting gag.
