I got flamed for thinking the Kuma backstory the near beginning of it was boring as shit and got called "a power level meathead" for getting mad at the God Valley portion getting skipped over.

also plz google aztec sun heart ritual..becuz its main inspiration for oda..

-did u notice that items or trézor like gold and money dont intrest lufy..but when luffy sees mecha objects and robots his eyes turn shiny like star???..so nature of trezor being mecha heart will align with lufy's love for cyborgs and mecha objects...

what does sun have to do with ruber since ruber melts under sun...true..but did u know that sun can harden ruber when its vulcanized????..also..oda choice for rubber man fits with heartbeats..becuz tink of lufy's heart as drum beating and his rubber body as skin of drum...so teh ruber body will work like amplifier..

Problem is Oda's storytelling isn't good and it gets dragged out. The Kuma + Bonney flashback seems so pointless now yet took up 8 chapters. And then 15 chapters of Vegapunk speech after that. Then Oda immediately sidelined them the arc was over.
