his later actions contradict these

His ultimate goal had always been to learn as much ninjutsu as possible

And for that he needed sharingan to copy the myriad ninjutsu

LMAO, this is remind me of peak pre ts one piece where they are bantering each other in non toxic way.
Sanji being petty at other achievements is still one of his funniest gag.

Zoro is such a dummy I love him lol
And didn't even fully grasp whats his full capability in haki is such Zoro's dumb moment. Well we know he like Luffy a battle genius but also a dumb-ahh.

If Zoro already this strong without fully control of CoC, Imagine if Zoro can fully control it. Even Yonko Luffy who I think already mastered it before, still need to re-learn to used it better as Gaban says.

Which is why he was doing experiments on different people, and studying forbidden ninjutsu like the Edo tensei...
