I'm not coping, I am by no means a Blackbeard hater. I just think him not being a conqueror would make his character more interesting, but if he has it then that's fine by me.
No one said they're sent to arrest him. They're sent to stop him from meeting WB. Even Shanks confirms it before getting ready to meet WB. No amount of mental gymnastics will help you escape that fact.
It was already surrounded before he left. The question is, how did he escape without a fight?
Also at this point the spoilers don't seem fake so I have to say that being the son of Rocks is the most race to the bottom ass writing yet and after Wano that's pretty amazing
