It is very, very easy to reach the pinnacle of strength as a teenager when you yourself are actually a top tier, not every pirate needs 3 decades of experience to rival Hanafuda like Kaido, real top tiers tiers like Xebec and the Admirals reach levels far exceeding the Yonko and it doesn’t have to take them decades to do it.

Kaido was still matching Hanafuda (Ace's victim) and Moria after 2 decades of piracy so it's hard to conceive that someone could have been genuinely strong without taking hudred of Ls beforehand
