I legit think Xebec sealed his Davy Zoan into Teach.

And the kickstarter for it to activate would be Neckbeard actually dying in battle.

Red Snitch might actually kill Teach after an extreme diff battle, just for his Davy Jones form emerging to resurrect him into full 3DF power again.

That would take away from the significance of the Yami Yami, which is already central to Teach’s story and perfectly suited to counter and absorb Imu.
Plus, Teach’s crew clearly needs a major power up. If he were to obtain Imu’s abilities, it would be an easy way to grant that boost to all of them.
