Nameless fodder giants would be able to do this to Xebec. Therefore there is 0 chance now that Xebec is above Old gen Primebeard/Prime Roger/Prime Garp etc etc and is at max equal. But his relation to Blackbeard suggests he was more likely weaker and a bum like his son who was not outright strong.

He was probably the pirate with the most accomplishments of the old generation, there's no doubt about that. As for him being a coward, I HIGHLY DOUBT IT.
If buggy really does end up being another son of Xebec it’d be really cool if he’s the guy to bring back Davy back fights in order to gain wealth and power. Same way foxy and his group were doing it. Potentially forcing characters that wouldn’t under normal circumstances join like Hancock or something
There could also be a cool moment of buggy having to pick who to side with. Blackbeard his potential blood family and take over the world or Shanks his real family giving up his goal for the good of the world
