The can't make any conclusions from your statements though. For all intents and purposes Shanks is a Nepo baby, raised by Pirate King's crew in his early days. Had access to Mariejois and it's resources. The starting point of Shanks and Starting point of Roger are wildly different. Luffy at the age of 19 is close to surpassing Shanks if he hasn't already.
Good feat for Shiryu, but Roger didn’t use a cut. He used shockwaves, both advanced haki are applied and his sword didn’t make contact. This is the meta for peak top-tiers, Kaido vs Luffy already showed us.
We are absolutely shown Roger > Garp multiple times, as Roger and Whitebeard were consitently portrayed as the two strongest characters in the series above all others, Garp included.
It is literally canon from one of Roger’s adopted sons that the only person who was as strong as Roger was Whitebeard, the World’s Strongest Man.
I don't know how you can tell this from an off panel fight however whenever oda wants to show equality he uses fights that last for long amount of time as a metric
Morji vs Cabji
Ace vs jinbe
Akainu vs kuzan
WB vs Roger
To somehow think big mom and kaido are excluded from this is wrong.
If this crew really locked in aswell as if harald and Loki joined,it’s game over for the wg and every other crew/organization in the op world I hope oda makes an alternative timeline like this sometime after op ends.
Rookie is around 300 million berries, all supernovas were call rookie back in Sabaody. Kaido was probably around 300-500 million berries.
So yeah Captain John's bounty is higher than him, maybe around 1 billion berry. And yes I agree that makes him YC1-ish level.
LMFAO at the Kuja pirates interactions.
A bit cringe, since IIRC the Roger goons are supposed to be like mid 30s? They aren't early 20s still lmao.
Rocks pirates moments were pretty hype too.
I don't get the Roger slander for not piercing Garp, obviously he defended himself. If Garp can't defend against Roger's attacks, then he cannot be ~ Roger, which was established decades ago.
