Kid and Law are this gen's Roger to Luffy's Xebec. Roger got defeated badly by Xebec and still considered a rival to him, meaning there's a gap between them whether it's huge or small (they can still get stronger)

Isn’t Luffy Roger’s successor while Teach is Xebec’s?

Kid and Law aren’t Luffy’s main foes, despite them still canonically being rivals.

It is comparable to Silver Axe and Shiki. They weren’t WB or Rocks but they were still rivals of Roger.

BBP already have Teach and Kuzan, add Loki and one other, and they are there considering Shiliew si also a beast. In fact, they'd be stronger.

Rocks Pirates were pretty stacked tbf
Mans wasn’t playing when he said he was going to take on the WG :risisweat: and even with this, this mofo still wanted two legendary DFs on top of that 😂

Also will be interesting to see how the Roger pirates squared up against Rocks and his boys coz we know the Roger Pirates are top heavy. Crazy how nonchalant they were about going against this monstrous crew 💀
