Kizaruber Eats

what even is this series anymore?
As someone who has a Half-Korean wife, this is absolutely true. Her mother shows interests in those sorts of stories, but she's actually less intense than a lot of folk around where she lives (probably because she actually 'made it' so to speak).

I always start getting frustrated when the themes hard-work and toil morph into high-lineage and destiny.
Exactly, it's deeply ingrained in their cultures. They love gacha stuff too, like the dreams of impossible odds and miracles. The one gets the unachievable drop will be seen as a sort of deity like people who win jackpots on lotteries.

Same here. You start following a series, thinking thus one it will be different, it goes great for a while, no issues so far, really refreshing writing then suddenly the red flags nation attacks and it's all downhill from there.
Ironically you've succumbed to destiny/fate just like the writing has as it traps you in its narrative pyramid scheme.

It's obvious to anyone that isn't blinded by bais :risisure:

You saw Garp overpowering kuzan and bb pirates multiple times on pirate island

In b4 "hesitanting" kuzan despite kuzan going after Garp every chance he gets and saying he's living his own way :risisure:
Yeah ok buddy saw ice glove and thought it was Kuzan’s strongest attack
:risisure:

And thinks that he has nothing more to show after Oda drew him next to Garling????

I love how One Piece kept it hidden for... at least 300 chapters. Then he's the Grandson of Garp and the Son of Dragon. Then he's the brother of the Pirate King's son. Then the word 'Joy Boy' came up, and I was like... Oh shit... and then we hear of Nika, and I begin to sweat, and then Luffy's fruit is a god fruit.

I miss my boy of rubber who was just really determined to be the King. Wtf.
