It being iron and getting rusty doesn't mean it doesn't mean it isn't made from good iron,unlike fodder swords...

I always assumed that Garling and the Figarland family in general to have red hair, it doesn't look to be the case this chapter. Shanks' mother and her family lineage seems to be the source.

Parallels are kind of lame in this manga, because really characters who are good or bad are coded similarly.

Luffy is parallels with like, 5 characters at this point. Xebec is just the face of a vaguely edgy form of piracy, but he doesn't even really act like Teach, and is kind of Luffy coded anyway. The same could be said of Kidd anyway, who isn't really *evil* like Teach is, and maybe even Xebec

About the kidnapping of kings and killing of the Admiral who tried to stop him, I mean, I don't have to say anything.
But anyway, there was literally a list:

Rocks is a true pirate (thanks Oda, not another fake pirate).

I like him a lot because of that, but he is a pirate: a criminal who takes what he wants by force, who kills, robs, and destroys.

Harald was the same, but changed and wanted Erbaf to become the opposite of that.
