Flashbacks show us things the characters don't know all the time. I don't imagine Loki is telling them all of this, only the things he experienced or read about in the paper

I mean they told us all they can tell for the most part. Most flashbacks don't tell us the whole life of the character just the important stuff. For example we never see Law as a teen or young adult, it just cuts after he escapes the island Corazon died on iirc
I'm assuming he's showing us this now because it will also connect to some vile shit Imu did on God Valley which will wrap back around to Imu’s actions in the current day. If that makes sense.

Because luffy generation (kid,law,zoro,killer,sanji etc) all managed to have strong haki/top tier haki and even awaken their devil fruit before 30s
after all this is the greatest generation
