No it's because the mangakas just don't care about these reddit buzzwords like aurafarming so they do what they want with their, as he called it, "#1 legends" as it really doesn't actually matter.
It's like someone saying "WHY DID NAMI BEAT LUFFY UP AND LOCK HIM IN A CAGE? HE'S THE NEW JOYBOY AND THE FUTURE PK AND LIBERATOR OF THE ENTIRE WORLD THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN!!" bro it's just a gag lol.
