Lmao did Linyagi just have a @Cruxroux
moment?

The Gorosei talked about Marco maybe being able to stop Teach right after MF. Teach didn’t beat Ochoku until a year later
That's not even close to being a crux moment

A crux moment, as defined by Webster's dictionary, is when you use your illiteracy to misunderstand basic grammar, and then use that for a powerscaling agenda.

What kinyagi did is just misremembering order of events. simple stupidity. He can be forgiven, cause no one needs to remember every little thing about one piece.

Doesn’t mean anything, the Gorosei have full intel and still thought Teach could lose to Marco after beating Ochoko

Elbaf has literally been a peaceful territory without a single top tier for like 20 years even though it’s right next to emperor territory and we know Kaido wanted to take it
Have you considered Oda hadn't come up with him then?

Rocks members prolly weren't interested in that shithole no more, Ochoku is their friend
We cant just put everyone above Marco for no good reason
:seriously::seriously:

Pretty sure Ochoku had all pirates of the island on his side, pretty much big shoots too.
What Teach probably mean with it that Koby and Law made it easier for him to get Ochaku.

Let be honest, I see Ochaku stronger than Marco(by hype) but he got probably got wrecked by Teach and his crew...

Even someone as Magellan got wrecked by a none Gura Teach+Blackbeard pirates and we speak about Teach who had two dfs, defeated Marco and was a Yonkou.

At best Ochaku pushed him to mid diff.
Blackbeard had the level 6 prisoners and Shiryu had antidote. Megallan also fought a commander in ivankov already

When did the government think Teach will lose to Marco?

So what's going on with the HK and Garling? Garling aged normally. They didn't.
Only one that don't age normally is Gunko. Who we see is some kind of vessel so Imu can leave his castle without actually leaving

I'm not that disappointed in Roger or WB for their treatment in this flashback. We already know there's more to their character. They're all in all well realized and even in this flashback we can still expect good moments from them.

But the likes of Shiki and Captain John and Silver Axe are huge disappointment. They dont have the privilege of getting screen time throughout the serie to flesh them out. And when the opportunity is here Oda is wasting it on the most cringe plot point he ever come up with.

CoC: Color of Clowns

Kuma and Ginny #1 Forever
All the HK aged normally except Gunko who’s not even really a HK
Gunko was also in a nun-getup serving Imu.

It's very possible Gunko was the princess of a kingdom, and Imu fancied her, and made her his personal slave.

I think Oda's setting up Brook exploring the Underworld/Abyss, to learn about the evil magic Imu's using, if it turns out Gunko is Imu's personal slave.

We haven't seen Imu have any direct slaves: Gunko very well may be the first we meet.

I'd love for Brook to be big in fighting Imu, Brook rocks.

I think Bogard will defeat Captain John. His character has a ton of potential now that Garp is captured. If nothing else, he would be a useful hype tool for Shiryu or another BBP commander. He could also train Tashigi, Drake, and others.

But that only works if Oda actually introduces him and has him do shit.

Frankly, Oda has given more attention to much less relevant characters.

Despite the cool design and his introduction, Silver Axe overall hasn't been that interesting anymore.
