Nah, this is where you guys are coping. Big Mom sets up shop in the remote new world for a reason, constantly trying to get more power for a reason. If the navy with Garp really wanted, they would capture her or any other Yonko, except maybe the OG Rocks. They just didnt have any interest as long as she was in competition with other pirates instead of the WG, and BM and any other Yonko isn´t even sniffing the top of the government like Imcel, who just has a nuke that he could use to wipe out WCI if he wanted, lol.

Oda wouldn't have given us so much info on Kidd and his crew outside of the story if he just intended to kill him off too.
Toei have gone the extra mile for Kidd in some ways (not always good but still), they made him look amazing with his final Damned Punk moment vs Big Mom and showing off Damned Punks power in the opening beforehand and they also did a sweet flashback sequence for him at Onigashima:
Despite how much people slander him and call him evil, they always conveniently forget Kidd has a far more humane side and Luffy actually likes him too, even giving him a nickname affectionately. He's kinda like another Zoro for Luffy, DARE I SAY IT! *gets impaled and shredded in a thousand stabs and cuts by Zoro bros immediately*
Seriously though, people don't understand Kidd, the ones who downplay and slander him. But one day, Oda will make them all eat crow just like he has to other characters who got slandered and he's humbled people who downplayed them, including myself too lol.
The sheer obsessive hatred of this fandom over Kidd is kinda of hilarious and pitiful, even if it infuriates me a lot too.
Kidd and Franky have a lot in common too, Kidd cannot be done when he and Franky have yet to truly interact and bond in a hilarious rivalry too potentially or they do some CRAZY epic engineer, Gurenn Lagann worthy shit together too. Full Power Rangers/Suuuuuupeeeeeer Sentai/Hentai (hentai means pervert and transform also IIRC lol) etc.
