Nobody cares about your Koby hate boner when Oda specifically put him in the contender spread, had him say he'd try and stop Luffy from achieving his dream, had us be told he's the future of the Marines twice, and had him specifically be Garp's beloved protege that's following in his footsteps in every way (i.e doing Battleship Bags, busting mountains, working according to his own beliefs instead of simply being a puppet to the World Government, etc.).

He literally did the "pull up on a Yonkou caliber+ crew" thing but actually put in good work instead of just being all talk like Kuzan and Aramaki were, yet y'all still slandered him. You don't get the privilege to wank him now, go stay on that side you were so belligerent about staying on before this chapter.
Oda specifically portrayed Blackbeard vs Kuzan as a losing battle for Blackbeard solely due to Kuzan using his crew as hostages twice so he couldn't go all out with either of his fruits, if there were no hostages he'd have folded Kuzan like a paper airplane.
And Blackbeard likely won't surpass Rocks until he either gets his third fruit or awakens the two fruits he already has.

That's the thing he was disappointing in Hachinosu, we expect a lot more from Admirals. For example to an Admiral, commander fodder are not a factor at all. Kuzan neg diffs them in the blink of an eye and has Teach shitting his pants.
For Garp to let these commander fodders gimp him is a bad look for Admiral standards. But it's somewhat understandable there was a literal ex Admiral there, was barely trying but still.
Anyhow this is the first time Admiral fans actually get a true gigachad Admiral worthy scene from Garp. 😤 They would be all in on Garp if he showed more Admiral worthy scenes.
