We've seen how boring Haki merchants actually look in battle since God Valley and people still prefer this over interesting DF abilities? I'd get if it were chakra merchants but Haki is such an one dimensional power system, it works perfectly in combination with other abilities rather than being a standalone power source which makes you send shockwaves, shockwaves and... shockers, shockwaves!

when you think about it Haki is just a lvl requirement at this point in the story, it just checks if you have the lvl to beat the next boss which is just boring. like "can you beat this new oponent" well "lets see how strong your haki is" boring. im glad when we reach the point of the story where it does not matter anymore and everyone is strong enough to handle everyones Power and it just is about your actually ability to fight.
