I don’t think containment spells exist in one piece. But of course everything is possible. But we know so little about the 20 kings that theorizing about their abilities feels like conjecture at this point. I like to wait until we get more info.
But Imu seems like he is lunarian so far or at least partly lunarian. And they were said to be able to survive everywhere. So what if Imu as a lunarian got some disease that kills him unless he stays in the lunarians native land(red line). Like an allergy. The eternal youth surgery could have been used to counter it but it only made him eternally young and not immortal. It’s just a theory though.

Intresting...we haven't seen the base form yet, maybe he looks less musculine and much weaker than hybrid form.
This also confirms Imu is not one person, his anime voice is also not one person, and we have no idea what happened to the other 18 kings. The chance of him absorbing them is pretty high, also assuming he bestowed them with the covenant contract before absorption. But there is one thing that makes the absorption theory sound weird, Saturn seems to have died. I don't know if he actually died or was absorbed.

So they at best 33% of Zoro this chapter.
Zoro got shot 3 times instantly by Imu, point blank, all three headshots. The third shot is what send him flying. He tanked/blocked two and even the explosion of the last was contained.
Against a suprise attack after the clash of advCoC with Imus demonic tail.
The skirmish between zoro and Imu was intense. Its just that it happened so fast people couodnt keep up.

Its also possible that he used these three shots to counter zoros three swords like you just say since Zoro was still moving toward imu to presure him after onigiri failled.
Imu pulled a santoryu on Zoro. He saw three swords style and was like lets make it three then.
