I just realised that Gaimon is a Shanks parallel:

Both of them waited 20 years to get to their treasure.

Both of them waited for Luffy to help them get to their treasure.

Both of them are all about friendship and protecting their weak nakama.

Their most distinctive feature is their hair.

Gaimon is a pretty fun character, kinda bummed he didn’t join the crew. I wonder where Luffy & co are heading? They need more crewmates and a real ship before heading for Grand Line!

nah man i dont think Luffy needs more people, this is a strong trilogy. this new author should go right to the grandline before the story gets old.
