Sandman confirmed orochis promise is not about hyo ? I told you oden wont fall for something like that.

makes u wonder even more, what else would Oden wanted that he couldnt do/get it himself and made him not to kill Orochi right there and then. His family is protected by Akazaya, Hyorogo and co was also fine up to that point, and unrelated to the promise according to Sandman. Hopefully we're getting the clear answer next chapter.

as much as I would hate it, ending the Flashback here makes a complete sense cuz we don't want Oden Vs Kaido offpanelled and Oda can't just show Kaido in his fullest yet. Same goes for the Kaido's calamaties.

oden should have taken advantage of kaidou's war with moria to take on orochi. maybe evne make alliance with moria and his army and they could have beat kaidou.

the spoilers made us think Oden did all that to protect hyogoro's family. Some people adored that idea, some not so.
but now, it seems hyogoro was never brought up in the promise, what made Oden do it then? he'd rather do it and wait 5 years for that said promise, while people suffered. There has to be other reason. Other than the already clear Ship which was mentioned in the chapter.

now that we know according to Sandman the promise is irrelevant to Hyou, which was one of the main argument that people brought up on why Oden became a street clown. that makes it even more intriguing, what else could make Oden decided to obey for 5 years in hope of Orochi fullfiling the promise.
The only dialogue is "what about the ship...with Kaido".

Maybe he wants to join Beast Pirates? Thinking it will be fun like the times with Whitebeard and Roger.

But he got ignored, plus Orochi caused more trouble for Wano again. That's why he got angry.

well upsetting that Oden was idiot enough to trust such scams , the only positive thing is that he manged to protect his samurai. Kaido usually kill the subordinates and let the captain live , Oden was able to prevent that and died in their place

Pretty sure that’s the sun. If you look closely, it’s got a grey tone to it, while the moon in OP is usually just a white circle.

well just found some opponent for nami lol
by the way i really suspect that the alliance found out who the triator is that is why the communication was cut for Kinemon and co.

shinobu was the the one who said it is impossible after they arrived at the port , and she was always against Law for some reasons if i have to bet then because she wanted to make the alliance fight each other and break from inside.
that would be an W for me lol , since i always bet on her being the traitor lol , mainly because i hate her attitude
