Here is the fun part for you my friend and why your argument is BASELESS
The whole thingy of "Kaido was apprentice" was not mentioned by Sengoku. It's "Fake Spoiler"
The same way the "fake spoiler" of Moria reduced a lot of Kaido's forces before Oden faced him.
The only thing that Sengoku mentioned about Kaido was the same as Big Mom, which is... they were at their "younger days"

I haven't seen Fuji impressive in Dressrosa to think he can best either Kaido or Oden. Both would smack his ass hard time
the only admiral for me who can fuck up another Yonko is Akainu in my opinion
And yes yes, Aokiji fanboys will knock at my door. But for me, I think the only reason Aokiji lasted longer than he should is because his DF is opposite of Akainu.
As we saw, Ace looked fierce when he faced Aokiji while he would last less against Akainu.
So, DF match up makes it harder sometimes

no clouds splitting, the CoC effect is just basic.
Also Oden is a solid top tier now
Kaido was right to fear Oden samurai gang and Hyou yakuza gang teaming up
He (admiral level) would have lost to Oden (admiral level) + hyou (Top High tier/Inbetweener ) 1 vs 2

Nothing stops Kaido from growing
Being called invincible 20 years ago doesnt mean much
BM and Kaido have grown and haven't stopped growing despite hitting Primes years ago.
You only stop when you are way old or retired or sick or lost ambitions
Brannew clearly says Kaido was a pirate in training /apprentinfe
When they talk about bounties
Stop trying to push this narratives if Kaido being ij 60s
He wouldnt call BM old hag and he wouldn't be considered in Shanks generation

Stop using WB or BM to try make Kaido have similar growth

well the possibility that Luffy takes Kaido one vs one increase every chapter. Luffy already has power ups that could deal a damage to Kaido and seeing how ruthless and dishonorable Kaido is makes you think Luffy is gonna be enraged and we know what happens, as we already saw in the story that Luffy get more powerful when he is enraged just think about Alrong and Rob Lucci . to be honest he was much weaker than Rob Lucci , but at the end to just rescue Robin and his friend he defeated him merely with his will power.
and Kaido and Orochi is the kind of opponents he hate the most.

and who faced WB?
Who faced BM?
Who faced Kaido?
Cause either Garp or Roger faced Xebec, while the other faced WB
I personally think Garp faced Xebec, and Roger faced WB based on how when Roger and WB clashed, their dialog felt like they were clashing before and that rivalry was THERE during the previous encounter "God Valley"
But regardless... whoever it was, Garp or Roger. Both were at their Prime my friend. So, I think that tells you that 35 ot 36 years old WB ain't fucking weak
There is a reason why the Rox pirates is considered "Legendary" it's because people like WB/BM/Kaido under Xebec were posessing strength FAR exceeds your avarage Yonko crew commanders. It's why the whole reaction of Xebec being on top of them gives more hype about this dude. If it was just normal "Yonko level captain" and 3 YC level characters. What is so special about this crew to have both of Roger crew and Marines led by Garp facing them???
