Page One is definitely still in the game, guys. He simply had a skirmish with Sanji but that was by no means the end of a member of Kaido's elite corps.

There's far too many protagonists for Oda to limit the amount of opponents during the war.

He has to give fights to the Straw Hats, Inu and Neko, the Nine Red Scabbards, Carrot, Law (maybe some of his crew), Kidd (and maybe Killer), X Drake when he betrays Kaido, the Wano Underworld bosses and whoever Neko is bringing from his scouting trip
