With this you can see the disadvantage of Oda personal working.
As compare many other mangakas have more editors who helping them for the manga, as say probably 2-3 or even more.
Oda only have Takano as editor who helping him and while Naito working on media platform, which mean Oda only have one editor as help, compare to other mangaka it is really to little.
Then the next disadvantage coming with the drawing type of Oda.
He don´t like it to draw his manga on digital version, in times of Corona this disadvantage showing the true bad colour, which end in the result that we gonna have now more breaks.
To make it clear, digital drawing is something which many mangakas using these days, as example everyone praising Mashima from Fairy tail for him beeing 2chapters in row in the past. It is because of the digital drawing, it working far faster and with it you can end your work far faster, as example Oda working over 7days(no break) for each chapter while Mashima only working on 3days and making is chapter already finished, you can see Mashima could make a another chapter in 3 days and he would even have a day a break while Oda would still working over one chapter.
Of course the details of the chapter are important too, but the digital drawing gonna help for sure many mangakas in these days. As you can see in Mashima example, dude was finished mangas of after 3 days and he love to drawing in digital version, Oda don´t like it and want to draw it via his hand in the old classic version. I respect this decision but we can see in terms of days like we facing right now with Corona, a digital working is important aswell.
As you can see the numbers of the editors are important, also the digital drawing which Oda don´t really accept it.
And now we face the true sad reality which leading up to the points that we even get chapter fewer as we already did in the past.
Probably A week break-Chapter-Then Break and then again a chapter or we get two chapters in row and then a break.
Overall I hope Oda stay safe and looking up about his health, the next months gonna be for sure hard for us fans and probably for Oda too since he want to make the story going continue fast...

Remember last month when Oda got sick and there was another break.
It's usually 36-37 chapters and this year has already guaranteed we won't reach 30
What's worse is that all this is happening right after one of the worst flashbacks in the series so we can't even pick up some good momentum when we need it

So ok its not his fault but OP already decreased the numbers of chapter to 38/52 per year with that we go down even further that means the story will stretch or whats worse Oda will rush things more and since he dosent like to draw fights he will shorten the fights but not the flashbacks which is frustrating
Yeah like I write above he already for right reasons (health and psychology) decreased the chapters to 38/52 in a year

he will shorten this arc or other good possible scenes
