That's kinda the most important part of Zoro's goal, his ultimate drive. Getting good feats or in other words beating strong enemies.

Or would you like it if he strolled up to Mihawk ready for a rematch while only have beaten the likes of Hyouzou, PH Dragon, Pica and Orochi...?

My thing is 1 isn't exclusive to the other or however the phrase go lol
Zoro fighting him doesn't mean he cant fight king or whoever

I don't think most people thought orochi would be his one and only fight this arc but want to see zoro beat his ass because thats what he wanted to do. Even his new wifey wants revenge on him lol

I feel like the people that are happy at the idea of him being gone for good and never coming face to face with zoro are missing the point but hey thats they opinions

Ohh my bad. But regarding Zoro wanting to beat Orochi, it would be very misplaced if it happened.

Yes Zoro wanted to kill Orochi but his grievances were based on Yasu, someone he knew briefly.

Compare that to the likes of Momo, Hiyori, the Scabbards etc. Yes Momo or Hiyori aren't capable of killing Orochi but the Scabbards definitely are. So not only is Orochi too weak for Zoro to face at this point in the story but narratively there are characters who fit the bill better.

That is my view on it.

in dressrosa i believe they were pretty close it's after that arc that luffy has grown tremendously, given that oda gave him so many fights hopefully zoro atleast picked up the basics of the advanced armament haki from mihawk. so in wano he perfects it with enma since armament haki is zoro specialty that would again get him closer to luffy once more.

Tbh i respect your opinion and don't even fully disagree that other characters might derserve it more but you could say the same about kaido this arc. And low key arguably even the all stars with the tobi roppo wantinf to take them down more than the alliance

My point is i think oda definitely zoros wants and aspirations above the other samurai for better or worse
Like i woulda absolutely loved for law to be the one to take out or at least end doffy but oda wouldn't even give him that

"Over The Top" covered manga chapter 908 - 937/938 (30 chapters), and anime episode 892 - 935 (43 episode).

So if we using the same number, new opening will covered manga chapter 939 - 969 or more, and anime episode 935-978.
Thats mean, most likely we will see Oden's flashback in the new opening.

He said in book red, Zoro=Luffy in fighting, In book Blue Zoro=Luffy in fighting, In book Yellow which he directly authored which was after G2 luffy, Zoro=Luffy when it comes to fighting. After Jinbei joins SH, Oda says in a Vivre card that pre-enma Zoro is second strongest and that he can fight the top tiers in wano. Zoro stronger than Jinbei who pushed Yonko Big Mom out Sunny, now that Zoro has refined his haki and was nerfed, he can take on Kaido now.:finally:
