I don't see the problem with Zoro and co fighting Queen as long as Zoro isn't injured much before facing Kaido alongside Luffy. Luffy can also face King alongside Sanji as long as he doesn't get injured much before facing Kaido.
You guys are getting caught up way too much in this Sanji/Zoro agenda nonsense.
The SH landing hits on Kaido, which most likely won't damage him too much, shouldn't be a surprise to you guys. You've seen this kind of stuff happen before, the only difference here is that Zoro and Luffy are the main foreshadowed individuals to defeat Kaido.

Zoro fights Queen instead of King so that Oda can have Zoro save up more strength for when he helps the other Supernovas fight Kaido
