Damn they couldn't even adapt full ch for this episode no wonder the pacing of the anime is so slow

Franky was a beast in this chapter, he was holding his own against a Flying Six member

The Lighting attack on Ulti pretty cool, Nami even knew right away her thunder wasn't strong enough to take out Ulti.

Kaido has spent all these years building his army of Smile users only for a kid to come by an totally decimate his army. (Otama's df can be pretty damn broken specially in a war)

That preview... it's truly been a cruel week.
:josad:
kinda nice to see the Carrot & Wanda VS Perospero fight not getting offscreened like the manga. Had a lot of people downvoting/shittalking me for saying Perospero would beat those 2 even easily w/ Sulong (despite him saying they would have had a 'chance'), which seems to be the direction the anime is heading towards

This was a really good episode.

The first half is a really well put together set up for the absolutely hype pay off that is the second half.

I've forgotten how good Franky's theme was, and paired one of the best animated scenes of the arc(animated by Akihiro Ota), I can't help but say that I felt Franky's section here really stood out in the best way possible in comparison to the manga.

The change to make Franky deck Sasaki in the face was really cool one, and I loved the final shot of the episode showing Tama as the key to victory.

This was an episode that worked really well as a "complete story" despite only adapting a limited amount of pages.

Great stuff from the director Ryosuke Tanaka.

Next episode looks like it may be alright, but I'm not expecting anything as good as this episode.
