Sanji was in base, without his Raid suit or the genes. Black Maria has haki, but do you know that Haki isnt always visible. Also she is a tobbi roppo, so she is tough and the ability to use haki to protect one self or something of that caliber is essential to survive in the new world.
1. Wow, he really needs his suit or daddy's modifications to defend himself against a TR?
2. Him using haki is irrelevant because BM didn't use it neither.
3. Haki stopped being invisible after the TS.
4. She is still one of the weakest Roppo's out there. Robin, who didn't use haki neither tanked her attacks fine and you are telling me that Sanji can't?
Man, going by what you said, it seems that Sanji is stronger for me than he is for you. Being nerfed by a fodder+, what a joke.

What a trash tier episode. It is sanji episode so expected.
These creep went from trusting his comrades (Nami) against a superior opponent (Kalifa), to then for some reason losing said trust (somehow during the timeskip), to then gaining the trust again lol by begging Robin for help. The same Robin that the enemies want to kidnap, insuring he puts her in danger....

In the pre ts He didnt ask Nami for help, je let himself be attacked by Kalifa and thrown to the floor and only when Nami found him she decided to fight, but he didnt ask for it, Sanji is a character who is willing to throw his life away for others, but who doesnt see the worth in him for others to do the same for him. That is what he learned last arc with Luffy and now when he got the chance he asked for help, showing growth. Also he knew of Robins strength and how she would destroy Black Maria and seeing how she broke her back, he made a right call.

Lmao he didn't need to ask for help, he accepted it and let her help him.
Now he's here putting Robin in danger, by letting her "help" him against the enemies that want to kidnap her. So much for that "sanji has top tier observation haki" lol.
Franky said it right, this mf ain't no man :suresure:

He accepted it because he couldnt do anything. And what does them wanting to kidnap her have to do with anything, they are all going to be killed for opposing Kaido?. And what the fuck does that Observation haki comment mean?, yeah Sanji had top tier observation haki, because he could judge that Robin would break Black Maria in two, which she did. Oda portrayed this moment as a good thing and later Robin denied the claims from Black Maria that Sanji sold her out, Sanji relied on his crewmates to do something he could not do, something that is portrayed as an absolute positive in One piece. But it is a "trash" moment because Sanji doesnt look tipically cool or strong, but I wouldnt expect someone as iliterate as you to understand something beyond looking cool and always being strong

You have to understand that any random prostitute, vet level character or Queen have blitz level speed and sneakiness, this explains why Judge's son top tier CoO never worked on Wano.

Is the infamous headcanon logic that's always used to explain sanjis retarded ass "character moments"? :milaugh:

So he was too weak to do anything? Gotcha. Had 0 reason to believe Robin would against an enemy he could nothing against? Gotcha. Yet he still put her in harms way knowing that they wanted to kidnap her. Gotcha.

If only his top tier observation haki helped him not get caught in the first place :whitepress:

You...you guys do realise this arc is over? Why are you arguing over a scene when you all know Sanji has shown his strength, and defeated a 1.3 billion belly pirate (the third billion berry bounty pirate to be defeated in the series unless you count Marco), as well as proved himself right to trust in Robin?

Robin coming in with the save! Even if it might've been repetitive in some ways to have Sanji get beat up by Black Maria, I still enjoyed it for the contrast between current Sanji and him in previous, similar situations and because Robin got some amazing moments. Rather than be stubborn about it, much better for Sanji to swallow his pride and appear as vulnerable as necessary and have a Straw Hat who he can trust to make up for his shortcomings cover for him. He'll play his part and help elsewhere.

The filler scenes with Black Maria playing her instrument and the visuals of Sanji and her were something, I guess, atleast they were nice to look at even if all they served was to pad the episode. Loved Sanji's va Hiroaki Hirata, he always makes these Sanji scenes even more entertaining.

You have to understand ZKKtards are desperate for a W after Zoro has been put to sleep and the main villain of an arc was defeated by... the main character. What a shock!
