iirc it was a mistake, they changed it to "13 years" in the volume version

makes more sense that the fruit was stolen 13 years ago and not 12

If I'm not wrong Roo stole it in the NW, then they traveled to East Blue, then Luffy eat it, few months after Garp took Luffy to Dandan, Luffy trained 10 years before going to sea, already this should be about 11 years from Roo stealing the fruit, then add 2 years skip it should easily be 13years and few months

Good episode, a bit slow at times (especially the Chopper section), but I can handle shitty pacing if the animation is good. The Hamlet scene had surprisingly good animation, how he fights is fucking hilarious.

Thanks! And Oh man you actually watched fire force? Sameee i stopped at season 2 cause not all the eps were out at the time and I didn’t feel like waiting

But i never went back. I love Shinra though and i was recommended fire force by 2 friends who knew it’d be my cup of tea

due to the fact that shinra’s similar to sanji in terms of fighting style, powers and personality as well as my love of fire

Shinra and Arthur definitely got inspired from Sanji and Zoro.

Shinra and Sanji have fire kicking fighting style, can fly and really fast, devil themes, kind and caring moms, has a thing for girls lol.
Arthur usually gets lost in direction like Zoro and uses blade. Although Arthur's personality is more of Sanji (knight tendency) while Shinra has Zoro's endurance. You get the idea. But glad you enjoyed Fire Force.:cheers:
