This 100x better I was waiting for to see someone edit this scene , I want know from people how did adding so much Bullshit made this moment better.

This episode proves there is such a thing as too many frames of animation, wow

Why not slow down the parts that are well animated and hold the key poses longer so i don't have to constantly pause to look at them instead of reusing the same animation 4 times to pad out the episode?

Shorter G5 scenes meant more Hiyori filler and more reused animation.

Did you guys ever watch Naruto? Do you remember that one weird part in the anime where Pain and Naruto started becoming cartoonish? This is pretty much the same thing. The animation goes wild.

Also... Luffy has SEVERE ADHD in Gear 5.

Strange animation at G5 reflecting Boro Breath, the frames change too fast we cant see whats happening

Gear 5 looks cool! The fight scene was godly animated, and the wacky sound effects fit the reference to older (cartoonish) styles of animation that come with Gear 5.

However, we didn’t need the flashbacks at all, I kinda hoped they would save the Hiyori scene for after the G5 spectacle (and thereby deviating from the manga; a rare moment during which this choice would have been justified), and they didn’t need to repeat the same shots of Luffy bouncing around 3+ times.

The new ending (!!!) is amazing, looks crazy good. The ending song also slaps.

Overall a good episode that could have been an amazing episode.
