This is comparing Luffy dodging an attack to a direct attack.

Also this makes Kaido look bad because he couldn’t make Luffy let go of him (this is before Bajrang gun)

But Kaidou made Luffy release him anyway, the point is that Kaidou did more damage to Luffy than Kizaru, Luffy was hit by Kizaru's cut and the damage suffered was low, while in Kaidou's example Kaidou did severely more damage to him, the fact that Luffy tried to dodge does not demonstrate that it would do more damage than Kaidou's cuts that left him vomiting blood.

It looks really bad for Kizaru, after all, his cut barely did anything to Luffy, while a cut from Kaidou draws more blood and causes more damage.

I’m gonna be totally honest.

I think Kizaru vs Luffy is about the same in the anime/manga.

I thought they would elevate it more and there are some really cool scenes, but overall it’s about the same. The clone scene had potential but honestly I think they did over animate it to where it was too hard to follow.

Lucci vs Luffy was way better in the anime, especially animation wise. Hell even Zoro vs Lucci is better than Luffy vs Kizaru.

If u want to get high quality animation be related to Gucci.

Saturn's entrance is soooo gonna lead anime-onlies to believe he's like ~ Kaido or something. What they did with that is actually absurd in terms of the hype build-up.
