But what was the point of his introduction to the story then? He has to have some kind of legacy that has yet to be revealed (whether it's his offspring or he himself is somehow alive) for his existence in the story to have some kind of payoff. We still don't know how he looked like or what his power was. There has to be a reason for that.

As for being stronger or weaker than Roger, I think he was definitely stronger during the God Valley incident since Roger was still a rookie back then. Prime Roger was probably stronger tho.

His only worth I guess is to add more world building to the one piece world, the only other thing I can think of is that his will is inherited by BB but not because BB knew about him or anything like that. But kinda like how Luffy inherited Roger’s will without really knowing him

I really think Roger defeated Rocks 1 vs 1 and the Roger that fought WB later on was much weaker due to the illness.

Not to mention that I think WB surpassed Rocks anyways after all those year. Ain’t no way in hell WB is still weaker than Xebec after all these years

Disagree. Sengoku line about Xebec is weird. He doesn't say he is dead he says he doesn't walk in this world anymore. Moon is not considered this world. And Naruto alien shit vibes already coming into One Piece because of this statement.

What is the problem of him having a son?

If he wasn't stronger than Roger why it needed an alliance between pirates and marines to beat him plus betrayal plot?
