2. You can see his blade is fully black in the air while his hilt is normal colored

We see that black blades have normal colored hilts when not infused with haki

but when Haki is used on a black blade, whole sword turns black including hilt

But we've seen weapons infused with haki that only blacken the blade:

I don't think there's a pattern on how this works, Oda just feels like blackening only the blade or the whole weapon.
