I only heard about it now from you. When I googled Big Mouth without adding netflix it gave me a Korean show from 2022 and I was really confused how it is supposed to have that many seasons lol

That's an old interview from 2023 with the producers, it doesn't really mean anything.

The longest running comparable Netflix shows are Stranger Things and the Witcher with five seasons each, the former being Netflix' biggest hit ever and the latter being one giant money sink since it came out of the gate stumbling and lost its main star. OPLA is in a much better state than the Witcher and should reach five seasons no problem, anything after that depends on the popularity of the show once more seasons are out.
