Where have you seen this? I haven't been following production news on Season 2+ so not sure if the core team that worked on Season 1 has changed. Also, we really don't care man just write a show that doesn't disrespect the original story and characters and people will enjoy it lol
On Twitter, Well are you ready to see that Wapol is an allegory of Trump? One of the writers seems to think so.

Kinda cringe:lawsigh:

Well, I hope the season is enjoyable and doesn't have a lot of unnecessary preaching. Just adapt One Piece please lol
It was Randy Troy, everyone called him out, and he eventually deleted his posts about the whole thing with Wapol.

Wapol represents the AmericanDream™. Donnie is but one of many iterations.
Just like Big Mom is a caricature of western forced multiculturalism that comes at a detrimental to all races involved + western women who have babies with Bella guys from different ethnicities just because + the food Industry exploiting 3rd world countries for resources and labor.

And like how kaido is obsessed with starting a world war and comes from Vodka kingdom.

Kizaruber Eats

Imu really turned Gunko into GUNko.
So Matt hasn't quit permanently then? He's just on a temporary break for his mental health?

:yodawhat:

We still don't know how Chopper will look too? Saving it for a release date/final trailer I guess? Or even a surprise reveal for those who actually watch the season?

:choppawhat:

It's a shit show because none of them cared about manga

One piece fanbase is big enough to carry even garbage show
At least some of the actors are good looking
I won't say it's a sh*tshow for the season 1 because it is very well received by the majority audience. With Matt out and now runs by Joe Tracz who is more experienced in making CG-reality show, not sure if he respects Oda's opinion and the source material like Matt. The show is going to have a major shake up. They might have better eye candy CG than the season 1 but the story will get worst. Seems to me that they can only go one way. We don't represent the major audience, so like I said we will see.

Joe Mangianello confirmed there will be a season 3 which starts production this year, but it surprises me that he would be in it since I figured they could do Alabasta in a single season…guess they’re gonna let it breathe, which is probably for the best :risicheck:
Season 2 is Drum Island and most likely just a tease of Alabasta (as a setting). Joe will appear in this season 2, but they'll sprinkle him in throughout the season as oposed to the manga and anime where he appeared in Little Garden over Den Den Mushi and then next time in Alabasta iirc
