I take my usual W as i debunked you

Having White skin in the Manga and Anime does not mean Vivi is brown.Anime Nico Robin Pre-TS had a dark tone

Vivi is white. Are you rly that blind?

Thats like night and day
What was there to debunk?
They picked an actress to portray a fictional character.
If they race swapped one of the actual main characters then I'd be on board for the whole pitchfork fest but rn this is just fake outrage over something you supposedly don't even watch.

The agenda is not a secret — it’s as clear as day. Some people just pretend not to see it because they actually support it. And those who do support it will perform all sorts of mental gymnastics just to pretend they can’t understand the real reason. Debating won’t change a thing.

But you have been warned.

This is just the beginning. Season 1 was a test, and it succeeded in inserting certain changes while still maintaining a majority of accuracy. But they won’t learn the right lesson — instead, they’ll keep doubling down and making bolder changes. By the end of the series, whenever that may be, One Piece will be so unrecognizable that it won’t feel like the same story at all.

Their intention has never changed since the beginning of the anime live-action era. They are not here to make a faithful live-action adaptation of One Piece — they’re here to make their own version of it. The only difference this time is that they’re being more patient.

Skin color means jackshit, my skin is also white/light and I'm African American
What matters is that Alabasta is heavily based off middle eastern places and the intent is clearly not for us to see Vivi and her people as just white people lmfao
I got no problem with skin color but the vivi they casted look more indian then egyptian, so doesn't look very fitting for alabasta

Some of these guys came straight from 4chan. It’s not surprising at all.

I’d be more charitable to their position if they weren’t race baiting and actually argued from a place of respect.
Like i don’t care about ppl calling stuff out do you internet is a cesspool anyways but at least don’t be ignorant about it and call out the wrong ethnicity for an agenda 🙂‍↔️

I don't think Robin is played by a Russian woman but she's still Russian in canon.
So Vivi can be Egyptian despite being played by an Indian woman.
Robins actress is russian however the ethnicity isn't 1;1, for example Inaki is Mexican and not Brazilian.

Anyways Oda is the one that chose the actress for vivi
