He may tussle with Queen for a while but he's only a placeholder as Sanji is for Robin until she eventually fights Black Maria.

I don't believe Hiyori's role is with Sanji to begin with but both Queen and Sanji have an interest in her and it would be a unique way for Oda to start their battle.

So who is king and queen fighting then? King isn’t falling to Marco that much should be obvious so who would he fight? He wants to kill the samurai and sanji wants to save them. In story king vs sanji is the only thing that makes sense

This is quite interesting thinking. I’d imagine at least One Emperor falls (Kaido) by the time the Island falls (or doesn’t) on Wano. When that happens, given that the calamities know where Hiyori is, I assume King would target her (possibly in Ringo). And it is during this time Zoro vs King will happen explaining Shimotsuki Ushimaru and Nidai Kitetsu (I am assuming Sandai will break from King maybe). After all, Wano is Zoro’s arc, whether people like to hear it or not.
Anyways, just a theory.
By the way guys. I am screening all the folks that have called others “idiots” for not believing in Sanji vs. King. Time will tell us.
