I believe not every Korean could afford it.

But i vaguely remember a Korean on YT saying that pale is a standard but who knows
I guess what I am trying to get at is that it isn’t just about being pale.

I think they see white women as the standard to aspire too, otherwise why would they try to change their features apart from skin tone to be more western.

Maybe you're correct.. Then again being white isn't a rarity in Korea like that's the standard tone.. Add makeup and you brighten it up..so i wonder just how much is aspired from the west

Ig you can divide the standards into cultural and Western.Cultural being pale and Western being white.I looked it up its seems to be both fair skin and pale.
