Well thats true unless you have a housewife who cooks everyday for you its easier to get some fast food than cooking yourself especially when you come home after 12 hours
My Mom was talking to me recently about how she went to Burger King to get my sister some seasonal meal a year ago, and the drive tru hadn't moved for like 15 minutes, so she goes in to talk to the people.
It's two high school guys that go "uhh, sorry, we don't have a manager, and we don't know what we're doing."
At this point I prefer eating at places where you can physically see them preparing the food. At least then you can tell what's going on. This is why Hibachi (went to a few like a decade ago) is a lot of fun. Also why I like food trucks. Just nice to watch people make the food in front of you, builds a level of trust IMO.
I took home-ec in school because I wanted to learn how to cook. They only taught us how to make cake. And it was SHITTY cake.
The USA HATES teaching children how to cook. Makes more money for the corporations if no one knows how to, so people eat out instead, so they stopped teaching cooking in school.
McDonalds and KFC in Japan is straight up good food. Mostly the same in Europe, not sure about other regions. The USA has horrible health laws when it comes to food, so most McDonalds and KFC are ass, unless they're located in a wealthier area where they need to make good food to compete with other places.
