Is that if Oda didn't care about it, the anime wouldn't have had to change the entire main cast to the colors on the covers (that are all near identical) and Robin would still be the same as pre- TS and Luffy darker. But they did, because the author obviously had his reasons.

I love every ethnicity and this has nothing to do with racism etc.
People should stick to the original source
I would also say the same thing when a white dude would play Usopp's role
Usopp should be black, Teach should be black, Mr.1 should be black etc.
